I have been thinking about launching my own line for a while.

Finally, I actually made it happen!

This is a sneak peek of the first products by Creativity Prompt.

They are self-adhesive epoxy stickers and I fell in love with them.

We only had a primitive cardboard “eclipse viewer” and we only took our point and shoot camera.

I am all about giving, if I can…

BUT I have had enough!

People are coming over, knocking on the door, at all hours of the day (and late evening).

They come over on weekends – always while we are in the middle of something.

They come over when I’m home alone.

They are sometimes often rude and pushy.

Sometimes other neighbors pick up fights with them – very loudly and while I’m going through my purse.

I have had enough.

I don’t need anymore newspapers that I will never get.

I don’t believe in supporting a complete stranger’s college fund – unless it’s through a known charity.

So I decided to design this 8″ by 10″ poster and hang it on our front door.

Freebie – Mist-ical Journaling Cards

Free Journaling LabelsToday I am sharing a set of FREE ‘mist-ical’ journaling cards with you guys (for personal use only).

I was inspired to make these journaling cards after watching this video tutorial by Jessica Sprague. In this video Jessica teaches how to use Nisa Fiin’s Splendid Fiins digital stencils, called ‘Knock-Outs’.

For this set of printable journaling cards I used patterns that I created myself. As I got inspired by Jessica’s video, I will not post a tutorial on how to make a digital stencil. I don’t think it would be fair.

If you feel inspired by this technique then, by all means, grab some of Nisa’s stencils and play with them. Her stencils are very affordable and their pattern are much cooler than my “primitive” ones.

Plus Jessica offers free samples to play with and real ‘mist’ brushes – not the make shift ones I used from Photoshop’s presets.

Happy National Scrapbooking Day and Cinco de Mayo

I hope you are doing something creative and|or fun today!

A note for my new-ish readers, who are mainly familiar with my free printables – I have a TON of creativity prompts on my blog, including dozens of video tutorials to spark your creative imagination.

Feel free to make use of them and also share them with others – only if you feel like it…

On a different note, I wanted to give a shout out on a new software|App that was introduced to me. It is called Mind Maple.

As its name suggests it’s a mind mapping software|app – which is totally down my alley. I LOVE mind mapping and have been using that method to make sense of what’s going up there… I use it both for brain storming and for planning. Unfortunately, Mind Maple is not available for MAC yet – but I will grab it as soon as the MAC version goes live.

The video shows how to plan an entire vacation with Mind Maple, but you may also plan menues, events or even scrapbook projects with it.
